NWLCT relies on donations from the public and others to support efforts to create, monitor and enforce conservation easements throughout Oregon in a cost effective manner. 
 
NWLCT requests a modest processing fee with each easement to assist with development, implementation and monitoring efforts. Processing fees help to cover NWLCT’s costs for legal review of the proposed conservation easement, monitoring, and future legal actions related to enforcement. Donations from the public help ensure that the processing fee is minimal and affordable. As a 501(c)3 non-profit all donations by the general public are likely tax deductible depending on your specific tax situation.
